K-Rep Bank Ltd is a leading fast-growing commercial bank, headquartered in Nairobi, with almost 40 branches throughout the country. In addition to microfinance services, the bank also provides a wide range of other banking services.

K-Rep Bank is rooted in a charity project that started in 1984 to support micro- and small enterprises through NGO-run programmes. In 1989 it started to offer loans to the NGOs and set up a microcredit programme which has since become its core business.

K-Rep Bank and Oikocredit are longstanding partners, with the first Oikocredit loan disbursed in 2005. Over the years, the bank has demonstrated a committed and prompt repayment attitude, despite various setbacks. Finally, K-Rep Bank has a wealth of experience in the microfinance and small and medium business banking sectors.
