Arohan Financial Services Pvt. Ltd (Arohan), founded in Kolkata in 2006, provides microfinance for income-generating activities to economically disadvantaged people in east and north-east India.

Arohan's vision is to be among the top-three financial inclusion players in its area of operation, serve more than 1 million customers across 10 states and be in the top-10 of favourite employers. The values embraced include a high level of employee engagement, transparency, honesty and integrity, and a strong customer focus.

In addition to offering financial services, Arohan is also involved in various social impact initiatives such as flood relief efforts and skills training. The MFI has received numerous awards for its responsible practices. In 2015 it obtained Client Protection Certification by the SMART campaign.
