Cooperativa Agrícola Ganadera Los Molinos Ltda (Los Molinos) was founded in 1950 and is based in the small town of Los Molinos, in the Santa Fe Province.

Most members are farmers from smallholder and medium-sized farms with limited bargaining power in selling their produce. Thanks to Los Molinos, which has an impressive wheat storage capacity of 50,000 tons, they have access to better marketing opportunities.

More importantly, the cooperative's activities enable farmers to work their own farms rather than having to rent them out to large multinational agro-corporations.

In addition to providing permanent employment to more than 40 staff, Los Molinos employs several temporary employees such as labourers and truck drivers. The cooperative not only serves its own members, but works with around 300 other local farmers.

Los Molinos has a good reputation for promoting sustainability and environmental awareness and providing community support. The cooperative was supported by Oikocredit to obtain certification for itself and a number of associated producers.
