Oikocredit is a cooperative that brings together thousands of people who share the goal of improving the quality of life of low-income people in a sustainable way. Dedicated networks of professionals, volunteers and member organisations are key to Oikocredit’s success as a global cooperative.
Organisation
Oikocredit’s central office is located in Amersfoort, the Netherlands. We also have offices in our three focus regions of Africa, Asia and Latin America, staffed by local experts who work directly with our partners.
Executive Committee
Oikocredit International is led by an Executive Committee that oversees the day-to-day operations. The Executive Committee is overseen by the Supervisory Board.
Supervisory Board
The Supervisory Board oversees the entire cooperative. The board represents different continents with a corresponding balance of expertise, gender, Christian denominations and geographical areas.
Members' Council
The Members’ Council is a consultation and advisory body which is broadly representative of Oikocredit’s member churches, support associations and other member organisations such as social banks.
