Oikocredit invests in Brazilian FinTech Avante to support one million micro-entrepreneurs by 2021
06 September | 2018 Oikocredit welcomes Avante, a Brazilian FinTech that empowers micro-entrepreneurs through financial technology, to its growing FinTech portfolio.
Avante currently offers microcredit and mobile point of sale to micro-entrepreneurs in 1,100 cities across Brazil, with the goal of reaching one million micro-entrepreneurs by 2021. Funding from Oikocredit, together with FiinLab (Gentera Group) and Vox Capital, will help Avante reach this goal.
